Beautiful Springfield M1903 rifle with a 1918 dated receiver and 3-18 dated barrel. This rifle bears all the indicators of a post WWI rebuild but I am not an expert on these. Bore is bright and shiny with minimal signs of wear. Finish is parkerized with some minor signs of wear around the reciever. Stock is in excellent condition with arsenal refurbishment stamps on the left side. Bolt is marked “R” on the bottom of the handle and functions flawlessly. Serial number falls outside the range of poorly heat treated early recievers and should make a fine shooter.
